Lucky In Love

The story · Lauren Fujimoto

Est. on 35 years of family craft

Hi, I’mLauren.

I grew up watching my parents run Black Tie Affair — a tuxedo business they poured 35 years into. Weddings have been part of my world for as long as I can remember.

Now I bring that same dedication to your wedding day. The vendors, the timeline, the small moments that make it feel like you — held with intention, so you can stay in the joy.

Where it started

The run sheet started early.

My parents built Black Tie Affair from the ground up — fitting grooms, dressing wedding parties, and meeting hundreds of couples through the most important week of their lives. I watched what it meant to handle someone’s day with care, to take the pressure off, to be the calm hand in the room.

The beginning

First naps were taken on the floor of Black Tie Affair, between the racks.

A few years in

That’s what Lucky In Love is built on — the quiet promise that when the moment comes, someone is taking care of it for you.

The philosophy

Your job on your wedding day is to be fully present — to feel everything, hug everyone, eat the meal you paid for. My job is to make sure you can.
